Bringing East & West together with Ping Pang

Originated in the late 19th century in Britain as an after-dinner game for upper-class Victorians, table tennis was made fairly popular in the 1970s in New China through its 'Ping Pang diplomacy' with the US, and the official Olympic sport since 1988 is still loved by many Chinese. It is a good sport because it is economcally affortable for many working people as well as their children, and it is environmentally friendly too.
