Malayan history from Ah Ming's experiences

What is the relation or connection between veteran communist Suriani Abdullah aka Eng Ming Ching @ Ah Ming and ex-MCA president Dr. Ling Liong Sik?

How many Indians from Malaya were conscripted by Japanese fascists to build the 'Death Railway' on the Thai-Burma border? How many survived? How many died? What were the anti-fascist activities in Perak's Malay kampongs in WWII?

Were there Indians in the Communist Party of Malaya?

Nehru met Ah Ming in Ipoh?

How did Orang Asli contribute to the anti-fascist war and the anti-colonial armed struggle?

Who was Ah Ming's first lover? Buy and read Setengah Abad Dalam Perjuangan - Memoir Suriani Abdullah (Kuala Lumpur, SIRD, 2006) to find out more about another side of the history of tanah air kita.
