Sole survivor of My Lai of Malaya passes away

According to last evening edition of today's Sin Chew Daily, the sole survivor of the 1948 Batang Kali Massacre Chong Hong passed away at 84 on 1 April at 3.00am at the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital. He is survived by his wife Tham Yong, 10 children and 16 grandchildren. Tham Yong, 77, is also an eyewitness of the cold-blooded killings of 24 unarmed Chinese civilians by colonial forces in the 'Emergency' and Alias Chin Peng: My Side of History recalls the episode in pp.239-243.
