Children saved from apocalypse sect in Texas

According to the Associated Press, more than 400 children in Texas were taken by the authorities into temporary state custody from a apocalypse sect, called 'Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints'. In 1993, US law enforcement agencies confronted another doomsday cult Branch Davidian also in Texas resulting in gunfights and deaths.

It reminds me about film "The Village"(2004) film by M. Night Shyamalan.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) does not tolerate such practises. There are 13,000 members of this church world wide. The real name of the apocalypse sect that you are reffering to is the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. (FLDS) (They are a much smaller group and have only 8,000 members located mostly in Arizona, Texas, and Utah.) Please correct the name of the church in your blog.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Oops, I meant to say that there are 13,000,000 members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. (Not 13,000)
