Last night, I finally found the CD of Yellow River Cantata (黄河大合唱) which I bought at the pasar malam in Petaling Jaya's SEA Park in the early 1990s. It is a rare Chinese-language musical that I love so much that I keep it in the favourite section of CDs and VCDs.

Long March documentary to be shown in U.S.

Hi James,
That was a war-time song wasn't it ? It made quite a big impact during China's struggle against the Japanese invasion.
I saw a performance broadcast on CCTV9 last year, I remember, with a full orchestra. Originally sung accompanied by very primitve musical instruments during the war.
