Latin Americans join bullfighting ban debates

The parliamentary ban on bullfighting in Catalonia has stirred heated debates not only in Spain but also in Spanish-speaking Latin America. Most countries in the region became independent in the 19th century. Spanish is one of the six (6) official languages of the United Nations. Also, it is the second most widely used language in the United States.
