Russia rediscovers self-worth in WWII history

As a matter of fact, Russia has already sent an advance notice to the others in the form of a military parade on the Red Square in Moscow on 9 May 2008 that it did at least one good, proud and great thing for mankind in the period from 1917 to 1991 when the communists ruled: the Russian people and its Red Army stood up heroically against Nazi Germany's onslaught, ultimately won and thereafter liberated Europe.
