Debating before the real debate ...

My public life in 2006 has already began in Subang Jaya's McDonald with a session of mock debate with these young students who are going to participate in a real debate competition. They wanted me to clarify, sharpen and firm up their ideas by challenging them first over a cup of Coke before they enter into the ring.

These are the more self-confident and knowledgeable Malaysian youths in the 21st century whose open- and broad-mindedness has clearly superceded that of many of the old, tired and intelletually muddle-headed mainstream elites.
