Expressing gratitude to Pak Lah ...

As I said immediately after the Cabinet reshuffle, the appointment of Zam may not subjectively be liked by many journalists but it may objectively serve the purpose of heralding a Malaysian Renaissance as an unintended consequence in a dialectical process of thesis-antithesis-synthesis.

Those who are clear-minded and not as engrossed in humourless micro-details like Opposition Leader Lim Kit Siang may have already sensed the Zam Effect in opening up the Malaysian minds in a matter of just a few weeks.

Zam has now introduced the themes of media-business relations, journalistic ethics, Western liberalism, nationalism and patriotism for our intellectual discourses and scholarly debates.

Boredom exists only for boring people.
