Indonesia has had a terrible history of mistreating its Chinese minority population. Twice in its history, in 1965, then 1998, the majority population turned on the Chinese with vengeance as the perceived root of the country's troubles.
I'm glad Indonesia is finally getting to normalise its treatment of the Chinese.

the 1965 Massacre was carried out by fanatical, extreme and militant ANTI-COMMUNISTS who were supported by the 'FREE" WORLD which also supported the terrorist attacks on the democratically elected government of Popular Unity in Chile on September 11, 1973.
