One of the very important instructions I received from my Italian ex-landlord ' Fishy Bill ' ( well, he and his wife operated a Fish and Chips Grocery nearby ) when I first arrived at Melbourne in 1982 was to be extremely careful with matches, lighters, mirrors and shinning metals during summer to avoid starting uncontrollable wildfire accidentally. The drought in Australia is really biting hard and it directly impacts many countries around the world.
Many procesed foods contain wheat or milk products.
As a major exporter of wheat and milk/dairy Products, the sharp fall in Australian farm output is contributing to driving up the cost of many food products, in Malaysia as well.
