Are M'sian hotels secure for foreign tourists ?

One side-effect of the ministerial sex video scandal is that foreign tourists, including the Arabs, may feel extremely insecure to stay in hotels in Malaysia whose privacy is no longer felt to be guaranteed. For Malaysians, the threat to privacy inside hotel rooms could also come from officials of religious departments who are searching for lost souls and collecting proofs of their sins for and on behalf of X.
