Lion dance' s dazzling, irresistible magnetism

When I was a kid in Ipoh, I really enjoyed following and watching lion dancing in the streets during the Chinese New Year and always hoped to join one of the martial art associations then in town like the Jinwu Troupe or Zhonghua Lohan Troupe but, somehow, I ended up being a Boy Scout modelled in the old Anglo-American tradition. Still, I love to watch lion dancing and also to be excited by its stirring drum beats.
