Malaysia Today exposes Umno's ' Dr. Ng Seng '
Raja Petra Kamarudin's latest revelation of the secret existence and modus operandi of Umno's "cyber-troopers"attempting to stir up inter-ethnic and inter-religious hatred in the cyberspace has already been reported, among other Chinese-language media, malaysiakini (Chinese edition) and Merdeka Review. Raja Petra Kamarudin writes:“ ... I want it on record that Umno is attacking Malaysia Today with 25 cyber-troopers and they are the ones who are posting racial statements. Sometimes they even masquerade as Chinese and whack the Malays and Islam. Then other cyber-troopers would respond and whack the Chinese. The Umno cyber-troopers are the ones behind this racial and religious bashing in Malaysia Today. the writer is not a Malaysian Chinese and do not know us, because we love this country eventhough we are victim of NEP. The system is alwright but the politicians are low mentality. Bear in mind when we die we will face our creator then you know...
Looks like UMNO is completely bankrupt of ideas on how to counter the popularity of bloggers.
Interestingly, Singapore's PAP also has a counter-blogging strategy, but they are quite professional at it. They use real names as commentators and post quite logical and well-written rebuttals to blogger's posts, whether you agree with them or not.
UMNO prefers to traffic in filth.
Singapore's PAP government may be as authoritarian as Malaysia under Umno-dominated National Front, but Singaporean government delivers (1) more quality and more equitable economic growth, (2) better traffic system, (3) better law and order on the streets, (4)more world-friendly and this-world-compatible education, (4) more decent politicians and (5) less censoship of books on secular subjects.
