Last night, I had a very enjoyable dinner with some European friends in Petaling Street and, in the leisurely conversation over some jugs of Carlsberg, one of them sarcastically said that Europe is "very grateful" to Umno Youth for not sending its 'warriors' to Brussel to threaten to raze the headquarters of the European Union (EU) to the ground or brandish their keris in front of it in response to Ambassador Thierry Rommel's critical comments on the race-based New Economic Policy (NEP). Of course, we had a really good laugh.
