Question of "confusion" of religious identities

Historically, many peoples of different cultures and faiths in Malaysia and Singapore received their primary and also secondary education at Christian missionary schools like those set up and managed by the La Sallean Brothers. Many left the schools to pursue tertiary education in English-speaking and also Christian- majority countries like Australia, Britain, Canada, New Zealand and US, and returned with the faiths of their parents and grandparents kept intact - without any " confusion". Some did change, but there is nothing wrong as long as the change is not for cari makan or naik pangkat to the detriments of other people.
