Observation on gunmen' s rampage in Mumbai

It seems to me that the gunmen still rampaging in Mumbai, whatever their organisation and motives, are fairly well-trained, well-equipped, well-financed and well-conditioned for protracted war-like operations. The coordinated simultaneity of their attacks at different locations in an urban setting also indicates that the operations were well-planned.

It looks a lot like they are funded by groups who have support from a national government.

I won't speculate any further, but depending on how the evidence trail leads, the potential implications for the region are scary.

A couple of months ago, the Crime and Investigation network ran a documentary about the dangerous alliance of cash-rich Mumbai criminal gangs (fed by the area's explosive economic growth) and Islamist groups supported by Pakistan's ISI.

I wonder if its related to the latest crisis....

But, whoever planed or did it, it must be condemned as terrorism because innocent and unarmed civilians have been intentionally targetted for killings.
