In search of true history ...

To find out more about the true WWII history of my homeland, I first went to Singapore and then southern Thailand. On the morning of 20 February, 2005, I crossed over the Malaysian-Thai border from Kota Baru in Kelantan.

Then, I continued to journey as arranged for another 90 minutes before arriving at Ban Chulabhorn 12 in Sukhirin. There were several security roadblocks set up by Thai police and military but my journey was smooth.

I had spent the previous night in the train which departed from KL Central first to Gemas in Johor and then, having takan a northwatd U-turn, to Kota Baru. I stopped briefly in Kota Baru to enjoy my kopi-o and wan-tan mee in a Chinese coffeeshop. Of course, I had to read newspapers.
