According to President of PAS Dato’ Seri Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Hadi Awang, Umno must not scapegoat Chinese, Indians and other non-Malays for its own failure to uplift the Malays economically. PAS has been consistent in opposing Umno's racial politics since mid-1980s.

Hi James,
I would add that on the road from Kota Bahru to Tumpat you can see a massive 30 meter high statue of a sitting Buddha, which was inaugurated in 2001, with Nik Aziz attending. In most BN controlled states, this project would not have even got Local Council approval in the first place - violates the Council planning rules or something like that.
On the other hand....Just when you thought these "Bulan" types may be more tolerant than Umno..the Kota Bahru council suddenly comes up with this weird ruling on women's dressing. I would have thought its a non-issue - most women in Kelantan, Muslim or non-Muslim dress up conservatively by KL standards.
agree. let's then praise what is good and positive and also raise our voices against is not good or negative. democracy is a process. PAS indeed has to end its obssession against women.
