This afternoon, while I was shopping at Kinokuniya Bookshop in the KLCC, I met my friend Bridget Welsh again. Bridget, an American scholar of Southeast Asian studies, is also the editor of Reflections: The Mahathir Years (Washington D.C., SAIS, 2004) which is, in my opinion, an excellent reference book. We agree to meet each other again soon to continue to exchange ideas and debate viewpoints.
