Indonesian media experts castigate Zainuddin

According to Singapore's Electric New Paper, mass media experts in Indonesia are angry with Malaysia's Minister of Information Zainuddin Maidin for his criticism of the media in the largest Muslim country for airing an television interview with Malaysia's ex-DPM Anwar Ibrahim. Last year, Zainuddin also quarrelled with the Qatar-based global Arab TV station Al Jazeera over the the latter's coverage of a public rally in Kuala Lumpur where peaceful participants were sprayed tear gas and chemical water indiscriminately by the Federal Reserve Units (FRU).
