31-year old trade unionist and former student leader who was once detained without trial under the Internal Security Act (ISA), Khairul Anuar Ahmad Zainuddin is now a candidate of Parti Keadilan Rakyat, contesting against BN's deputy chairman and Umno's deputy president Najib Razak in Pekan in Pahang. Khairul is also affectionately known as 'Jonah' among many young activists of all races in the Klang Valley.
