Educational values of stamp collecting hobby

There are many old British stamps in my family's collection and some of the really rare items were actually contributed by my second uncle and the second elder brother of my father who was a holder of Senior Cambridge Certificate and ex-student of Ipoh's Anglo-Chinese School. Indeed, stamp collecting also serves to enhance its enthusiasts' sense of geography as well as perspective of history in the mental universe.
