Charge Ahmad Ismail in law court for sedition

While Clare Street welcomes the unconditional release of the upright reporter Tan Hoon Cheng , who should not have been detained in the first place, it also endorses the position that Ahmad Ismail should be charged for public trials in open court of law under the Seditions Act.

In solidarity with Teresa, Hoon Cheng & RPK

Ahmad Ismail broke the law and police reports were made yet nothing happened. Is the government so afraid of what can happen if he is charged that they took the lesser step of suspending him which is an internal decision? He is not above the law and has to face the consequence of his action. Only if such a step is taken can we restore some respect to the BN government for being fair to all citizens.
