Doing field works

The massive stock of publicity and educational materials calling for the unconditional release of Kit Siang and all other ISA detainees in 1987-1988 were not words or theories alone but pictures, photographs, cartoons, slogans and poems. The materials also needed to be packaged as booklets, leaflets, pamphlets and billboards, etc.

So, there was a need for massive manpower to do the physical works of packaging and distribution. Certainly, there were quite a number of brave Malaysians who helped. I also sometimes turung padang to do the field works.
