Amir to produce another ' Red ' documentary

Not shocked or awed by anti-communist paranoiacs, film director Amir Muhammad and his friends recently (before the departure of Pak Rashid) visited southern Thailand again to meet up with another group of veteran Communists to produce a sequel to Lelaki Komunis 'Terakhir', to be titled Apa Khabar Orang Kampung. They met the legendary Abdullah C.D. and Suriani Abdullah (aka Eng Ming Ching @ Ah Ming).

Makcik, an ex-student of Sitiawan's Nan Hwa High School and Ipoh's Methodist Girls' School who joined the Communist Party of Malaya in 1940 in Ipoh and participated in the anti-fascist and anti-colonial wars as an armed partisan, told me that talking to straightforward and honest blokes like Amir and his friends make her feel young again.
