A morning well - spent with Karen Armstrong

Karen Armstrong, who spoke very knowledgeably, passionately and eloquently this morning in Kuala Lumpur attracted a mulitiethnic and multinational audience of 750-800 and many, like myself, brought along her books such as A History of God and The Battle for God for the prolific writer from Britain to autograph. Besides ex-PM Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, I also met up with Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Chairman & CEO, Dato' Seri Mohamed Jawhar Hassan and its Assistant Director-General, Dr. Stephen Leong as well as USM Centre for Policy Research & International Studies' Noordin Sopiee Professor of Global Studies, Dr. Chandra Muzaffar.
