The government, from AAB downwards, is always harping on its critics raising racial or religious issues.
From my observation, the worst racists and religious extremists are within the ruling party itself. Beginning with the famous SIL (Simian-In-Law), who spews racist remarks every few days.
after rousing the rabbles and got their votes in elections, they would be "moderate" again and enjoy Western lifestyle in London, Paris, Perth, Melbourne ....
Free speech always comes with a cost. That cost is acceptable when the burden falls upon wrongdoers.
