Kit Siang apologises to Perak Sultan & Regent

In a brief statement, DAP's veteran MP Lim Kit Siang has offered his apology to HRH Sultan of Perak and Regent for an earlier statement 'ordering' boycott by DAP's elected State Assembly representatives in Perak of the swearing-in ceremony of the new Perak Menteri Besar. As the people's government of Perak has made decision to appoint a Chinese and an Indian deputy Menteri Besar, I am very confident that political stability and social harmony would continue to prevail and all the rakyat would live in mutual respect for each other's rights, honour and dignity in our common endeavour to built a better society for all.

Cultural exchange amid electoral hurly-burly

It simply demonstrates that LKS is as thuggish as the BN dimwits who have been ousted. Having fought BN tooth and nails for decades, LKS is unable to change with the times and that his Malaysian Malaysia call is as lame as BN's bersih cekap dan amanah over the years.

An apology means that he has committed some disrespect, and that his future actions and words are to be treated with great suspicion. Such a cancerous cell should be methodically and categorically purged, either by pinpoint laser or by political exorcism.

What a shame to a potentially heart-warming new beginning, a new era, a new dawn. LKS is still living in his own time-warp together with the BN dinosaurs. The people will know what to do the next time...correct, correct, correct this erroneous mis-choice!!!

Damn, just spoiled my good-day feeling for a while, but manage to realise that this may be his last fling at national politics...he is not getting any younger....hehehehe

Cheers,

It took three paragraphs from LKS to undo decades of hardwork by DAP supporters.

It took a short statement by DAP CEC to prove to the Malays that DAP is chauvinistic while decades of dirty works by UMNO has not succeeded in doing this.

Well, it took me by surprise. Leaders don't change. Voters do.

Still, LKS is likened to a patrol leader under siege who shoots first and talks later - under severe tension & threat.

A visionary and fair leader would have exercised more prudence and calm before issuing such an artless statement, and then apologise later for the mistake or error.

No doubt, to err is human, but we must not forget that making such fundamental mistakes can lead to tragic consequences.

We move on from here.

Cheers.
