May Day is the day for working people of all ethnic communities and nationalities to express solidarity and to pay tribute to martyrs and forerunners of the modern and universal struggle for the betterment of the human conditions as well as to re-affirm the dignity of labour as labour is the true foundation or base of all civilisations on earth.
