CPC organ criticises Chinese films' immorality

Curse of the Golden Flower, a made-in-China blockbuster directed by Zhang Yimou and starring Gong Li, Chow Yun Fatt and Jay Chou, has, in my opinion, correctly been criticised as "ugly" and "bloodthirsty" in a signed commentary in the Study Times, a periodical published by the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). The movie, however, is not banned in China.

New China's moral progress in culture, arts

Passion of reading among youths in Shenzhen

A mammoth, crowded hypermarket of books

My post-graduate students in SYS University

Delivering lectures to China's undergraduates

New China's truly gigantic, futuristic campus
