Is Abdullah more trustworthy than Mahathir ?

According to ex-PM Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, there was a 'gentleman's agreement' between himself and PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi that the latter would only serve one term (which is expiring very soon) but the latter has now denied there is such as agreement. So, who should the people believe now ? Although some people may opine that, because PM Abdullah is much more religious, his words cannot be distrusted but other observe that despite the fact that PM Abdullah appears to be more religious, his long record of flip-flops on many decisions on public policies suggests that perfidy on his part cannot be ruled out.
