Old Indian shares wisdom with young Chinese

According to the remarkably solid and truly irrefutable reasoning of Uncle Krishnan who was a friend of my father and faithful supporter of D.R. Seenevasagam, the Malayan/Malaysian Indian Congress or MIC has been in political existence since 1946 and Kuala Lumpur has been the capital of Malaya/Malaysia since 1957 but Thaipusam was only declared a public holiday for the city after the massive protest rally called by HINDRAF in late 2007 and as Malaysia's 2008 general election approaches, and it is therefore only logical or reasonable for the Indian community to feel grateful to HINDRAF, not MIC or Umno.
