My private notes on McCain in last November

In mid-November last year, I made some observations in my private notebook on the US presidential candidates and one of the remarks reads: "... given his credential as soldier and experience in national security issues, McCain may eventually emerge as the leading GOP candidate despite age and apparent lack of fund-raising capability ".

Here's to John McCain for US President !

I certainly don't think another Clinton Presidency is going to do the US any good...20 years of Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton..can't they find any better people ?

Obama is about change and he is gaining momentum. He did well in Super-Tuesday (February 5,2008). He is giving the Clinton-Clinton team a run for their money. And if America is ready for an African-American as its President, Barak Obama is the man.

Hillary is losing out on fund raising and had to put USD 5 million of her own money to fight on. In constrast, Obama is getting a lot of funding support from small contributors. Soon the big boys will join in to support him and that will be the end of a possible second Clinton Presidency.

Right now, the bet is that it will a close race between the 2 democrats. I prefer Obama but then I am not a voter there. Here in Malaysia, my vote is for Anwar Ibrahim and Parti KeADILan Rakyat.

Gong Xi Fa Cai, James and hope to see you soon. Din Merican

McCain is the man!!! An American hero that can guide USA and the rest of the free world against global terrorist threat. No doubt about it, a republican president also help to maintain equal power within government branches.
